Received my new 1100w KR1100 inverter for testing today; So far, so good. It is currently powered by a 100 watt lightbulb and a 26 inch LCD TV connected to a deep cycle battery. It shows a power consumption of around 250W, which is well below its rated power, but the test is the same. was a little dismayed when I plugged the multimeter into a power outlet and it only read 94 VAC so I sent a question to TechBuy via Revain as to where the unit was shipped from. By the way, it arrived here on the second day after ordering. More than two minutes after I clicked the "Send" button, I received a call from TechBuy to discuss my issue. Seriously, it was LESS TWO MINUTES! That's what I call fantastic customer service and I've been in customer service for 35 years! When they asked me if I was using a true RMS multimeter, I knew right away that my question was the right one - I wasn't getting true RMS readings. Anyway, the TechBuy person gave me some quick tests to run when Comparing the light output of an incandescent lamp and whether the TV is OK, the device did what it was supposed to. He passed both tests with flying colors! I will update this in the future when I install it in our caravan and get a chance to use it in real time. But for the obvious build quality, all the extra features, and most importantly, the great customer service, I'll give it five stars for now. . Here's a photo where it easily puts out 978 watts when the microwave is on in the TT. MY 5 STAR RATING REMAINS VALID. I'm going on a month long tour soon and will be using it quite a bit. I will update this review again after I get back. It is now installed and has been in use for 2 1/2 years including a trip from Florida to Alaska and back and has worked flawlessly.
