The Casio app is quirky but I was able to put a pin on the cue dot and the sunrise/sunset is very accurate within a minute. The tide chart has not yet been tried but has been programmed at two points along the coast for use this summer. I think the addition of a compass would be helpful along with solar power for this watch. Casio states a battery life of 2 years with normal use. Let's see how much battery life this model has. At 47, I have a hard time reading faces in certain tide patterns. The negative image is nice and clear even in direct sunlight. The Bluetooth feature alerts me when I receive an SMS or a call, but the banner on my face is so small it's useless. Overall I'm happy with the watch, but the settings and app need an overhaul to make it more intuitive and user-friendly. Quite a lot of glitches.
