Update May 2018: Louder pump no longer pumps air as efficiently. The seal on the rubber cylinders lets air through. Original post: I've bought two for four tanks so far. One is quiet, the other loud. Very strong airflow, so there was no problem with separating the tanks. The knob on the side isn't very effective for adjusting the airflow on either pump.
