🐠 SunSun 3W 3-LPM Aquarium Air Pump YT-302C with 2 Outlets, Ideal for 60 Gallon Tanks Review

Bought in October, initially quiet, now very noisy after 8 months of use. It still brings good air, but the loud vibration makes me look for another pump.

Sunsun has delivered again. $8 and enough air to air my 40 gallons. The pump runs silently and the sound of the bubbles bursting on the surface is louder than the pump itself. I will post an update in 90 days.

Worked great for a few months I ordered it in February it's now June and it has stopped working. It was very quiet so I'm not exactly sure how long it hasn't run since I have other air pumps in my 55 gallon tank.

I was disappointed with this air pump. It's not very strong and the adjustment knob is useless. I've only hooked up 2 airstones in a pair of box filters and the airflow is worse than the old ones they replaced. I've used many models of air pumps over the years, but I wouldn't buy these again.

Update May 2018: Louder pump no longer pumps air as efficiently. The seal on the rubber cylinders lets air through. Original post: I've bought two for four tanks so far. One is quiet, the other loud. Very strong airflow, so there was no problem with separating the tanks. The knob on the side isn't very effective for adjusting the airflow on either pump.

MUCH quieter than other brands air pump I usually use. No complaints. I have it at 55 and it works exactly as it should. * 01/11/17. Still works great. No problems since bought July 2015. * Just bought a second one for another tank and it's very quiet too. * 05/14/2017 I see that I made a mistake. The 2nd socket of the first one I bought just died. Actually I wanted to give it a 3, but at least after almost a full 2 years it is still absolutely quiet and very cheap.
