Plugged it directly into my singer and it worked great.
I lost the pedal for my Singer 5017C (teenagers CAN lose EVERYTHING. Here's your proof) and this pedal works great. So relieved to find one at Revain. I will say pay attention to the end of the fork (the end that attaches to the sewing machine itself) as it needs to be the right size/shape for your machine. I've been using it for a few months with no problems.
