I just received this coat so I can't comment on its durability. However, the size (large) is exactly what it should be. I wear Levis with a 33" waist, oversized shirts, my blazers have 41" shoulders, my shirts have 16.5" necks and 33" sleeves. I pulled on a sweatshirt with a t-shirt underneath to try the coat on. The coat's shoulders are right where they should be, and the sleeves may have been too long, but the sleeves have a pull-up, and it's probably better to be a bit long (rather than a bit short) in fact this is a winter coat. , the waist is probably a little big (but my waist is narrow), but the waist also has a suspender. The coat was neither tight nor too big. Due to my body type (broad shoulders and small waist) I usually have to buy clothes that fit my shoulders and hope for the best. The overall size of this coat is exactly what I want and would probably fit someone with longer arms and a larger waist.
