Pros: The best thing about this fan is the adjustable bottom handle. You have a choice of 12-inch and 2.5-inch, which is really excellent and beats what many other companies offer. We have relatively short ceilings in our 1920's Chicago condo, and being able to compress the bottom bar was really handy. In operation, the fan is quiet and cools efficiently. I also like the LED lighting unit, although I wish it was brighter (it's 18W, maybe 26W would be better). Cons: Installing it in our dining room was trickier than we'd like - the petals fall off easily and line up with the screw holes, and the fan is quite heavy overall, making for some sweaty and fidgety moments. It's also a fairly expensive fan for what you get. Also, the remote makes annoying beeps to indicate when something's happening - it's good to know you're actually doing something, but they can be 50% quieter and nothing is lost.
