Used this button as a man overboard button on my boat. Click on it and the chart plotter will automatically record the GPS position. The button has both normally open and normally closed contacts and a display. This will cause the button to light up slightly, but when pressed, the indicator will turn off, signaling that the button was pressed successfully. It includes an O-ring to facilitate a waterproof mount. I'm not yet sure how well it will hold up under the corrosive effects of salt water.
