I bought them to fix holes in my daughter's jeans. She just started kindergarten and has already started drilling holes in her knees. Anyway, they appear to be a lot thinner than I thought they would be, but they worked fine. You can easily trim them to the size you need to get the most out of them. I cut them about half an inch wider than the hole. I glued a decorative patch on the outside, so I ironed it onto the inside of the legs. They got stuck right away. I followed the instructions exactly and after a few washes they are still sticking. The last wash I even forgot they were there and the heavy spin/extra soil mode was on. In the dryer they were one step below disinfection. Ouch! Anyhow, they still hold up and don't even pull themselves up at the edges. I am super happy with them, would give them more than 5 stars. A good range of colors too.
