Great for use around our campsite, to start with it's plenty light in the lantern setting, but as a flashlight it's on the dim side compared to what I am used to. It will do the job to get you where you want to go ok just not that bright.Ours doesn't stay charged all that long maybe 2 hours on the lantern setting before it begins to dim, by the second night it looked like a night light. It ran steady for maybe 3 hours before it died completely.I also couldn't get it to charge another flashlight, but that probably is because of the power left after 2 nights of using it for a total of maybe 3 hours on the steady lantern mode. I was hoping this would last at least a weekend without having to charge it, we camp deep in the woods where the only power is charge packs. As a back up light its great but I can't rely on it for an entire weekend to keep our campsite lit as I had hoped.
