Great project. This was my first felting experience and it was a small success. I wish the instructions were a bit more detailed. I would suggest watching a YouTube video of this set and reading the Revain reviews by Gingerbreadforest on 12/4/2012 and Kindle customers on 12/20/2013. Other useful tips: The wool in the kit is very soft. I could remove or add hair as I wanted, as well as hide the flaws. I would suggest playing with the wool to see what you can do with it. For dog patches you can blur the brown edges of the fur a bit, mix it with white wool (more realistic for me) or more defined for a more defined shape. I used toothpicks to hold down the fur to pierce points, eyes, nose and tail which allowed me to pierce and hold the dog with both hands. This makes small jobs a lot easier. Also, Michael sells the same set for $30 while Revane sells almost half the price.
