Review on πŸš™ IJDMTOY RGB Multi-Color LED Halo Rings for Jeep Wrangler JK (Also Compatible with 7-Inch Headlights) by John Ford

Revainrating 1 out of 5

. Not sure if this is a good buy based on the lack of reviews but I am.

Wrangler LED Halo 2012 I wasn't sure if this would be a good buy due to a lack of reviews but decided to take a chance. The headlights are bright and well finished. Plugs are cheap and can break if you're not careful. Shrink tubing is required for connectors. I wanted the wires from the LED rings to be longer because it was difficult to find a place to mount the control box in the jeep and still be able to reach each ring and leave enough slack to remove the headlight when you need to change the lightbulb. The remote control only has 4 buttons: Program, Speed Up, Speed Down and On/Off. With the program button you can switch between all settings. Settings (from my point of view): Flash - red, green, blue Strobe - all colors Blink - red, green, blue Slowshift - all colors Solid - Red Solid - Blue Solid - Purple Solid - Green Solid - Amber / Yellow Solid - Light Blue Solid - White I chose to connect LEDs for daytime running lights. To power the lights I used an ACC connection and installed a pigtail relay switch so the halo rings turn off when the parking lights turn on. The installation went well. I baked my headlight assembly so it would fall apart. This process was good. I found that my headlight has a gray gasket instead of silicone to hold it together. I will update my review if I encounter any issues. *** 04/07/2017 *** One of the LED rings has a short circuit and no longer works. Short circuit at the junction of the wire where it connects to the LED ring in the headlight. I contacted the seller to inquire about the warranty. *** 07/06/2017 *** The warranty is 90 days and does not apply to the product. Changed the rating to one star. I would do zero if it were possible.
