save your money Go with the old trusty box.

The first time I used this cage I put my dog in it so I could leave him alone but contain and protect him in the cage. I was away for a very short time; a quick trip to the grocery store. When I got home my dog wasn't in the cage. I panicked knowing it was safe in a drawer before leaving. I found the crate's door partially open, creating an escape route for my dog. She managed to open part of the box door without human help. I would like to say that my dog is exceptionally intelligent and can run away, but that is not the case. She is a 4 month old collie and at the time of her short life does not appear to have exceptional intelligence or ability in any area. All this indicates that these boxes are not suitable for keeping your pet safe during the shortest absence of the owner. The drawers appear to be well constructed, but a zippered door that a dog can open from the inside renders them useless. I recommend buying a wire or plastic box or container for a small price. Stay away from those expensive crates that won't even fit a 3 month old puppy.
