US Navy Approved Wetsuits

As a diver I have had a few dry suits that were gifted or bought to me for recreational use. I bought this wetsuit specifically for jet skiing during the winter months. Where the water temperature drops to 30 degrees and the air temperature drops to 18 degrees below zero. I was hesitant at first about the neoprene neck, knowing it would let some water through, but wasn't sure how much. I was willing to take the risk as I didn't need another latex or silicone neck for comfort reasons. I've been using this suit for about a month and I love it. I bought a LARGE, I'm 180 pounds and 5ft 11" with broad shoulders. This size was perfect for me, I wear 2 tight thermals and 2 pairs of sweatpants and still have plenty of room to maneuver and stunt. Body movements, etc. cause air to build up in the suit, which also contributes to buoyancy. It also helps keep you afloat when thrown at 30mph and keeps water out. I was fully submerged in the water and watched the air bubbles come out of the throat underwater, after all the air was removed the amount of air that came out was about 6 ounces. So I decided to buy a sauna suit as a last layer and it works great. All in all, well made, waterproof, ribbed zip, great price, additional features I didn't know about before buying are internal suspenders to keep the crouch and external recessed cuffs at the top and bottom, perfect for booties and gloves.
