Review on ๐Ÿพ Akinerri Airline Approved Soft-Sided Pet Carriers for Medium-size Dogs and Cats: Collapsible & Travel-Friendly Pet Carriers by Christine Bryant

Is the kitten seasick?

I have a 16kg cat that suffers from motion sickness. I bought this to replace another carrier (also new) because my cat pooped and vomited in it and I couldn't get the stains out no matter how many times I cleaned it. First carry was a backpack and I thought it would be easier for me to carry it in it. BIG MISTAKE. My cat hated being in this carrier. This porter pushed him too hard so he ended up pooping twice and throwing up once in 20 minutes (how long it took us to get from the ticket office to our gate). But this stretcher saved my life on the way back! My cat tolerated bumps better as she could lie flat instead of sitting up. And it's much roomier than a backpack even though they're the same size. I had doubts about the quality at first as it was cheaper than a backpack carrier, but I was pleasantly surprised at how durable it is! The removable bottom has a wooden plank inside and I think this gave my cat a better stable feel compared to other carriers. The description says it's for pets up to 15 pounds; My cat is 16 pounds and this carrier still managed his weight well! I wasn't worried about the strap breaking or tearing, it felt very secure. My cat didn't complain once while in it which also meant she didn't poop, vomit or go to the bathroom for impromptu cat baths! I flew United and it fitted perfectly under the seat. If you have a cat that can't stand being pushed and/or gets anxious on car rides, I would highly recommend this carrier.
