Still in the process of evaluating these two hubs. only three USB 2.0 ports, so a USB>USB-C adapter was required. In both cases, items such as USB sticks and memory card readers were accepted and worked well. Connecting a My Passport drive caused a pop-up window with the message "Insufficient power supply". I will keep these two hubs for smaller needs but wish they had such an externally powered device to allow such connections when needed.
