Stretch covers are easy to put on. Our chairs are made of very dark brown suede. We have a cat who has digestive problems due to age. We needed something that would protect our furniture from nasty paw prints and that could be washed if needed. They are not a luxury cover but for the price and for my use they are perfect. It's damn hard to drape everything with old sheets and blankets! The snow white/ivory color I bought has a slight golden brown tint that suits our room. The covers stay in place fairly well when people sit on them and require minimal stowage. There is an elastic bottom around the perimeter that keeps them in place well. The fabric is nubby and soft to the touch, you sit comfortably on it. I added a waterproof pad to a pillow to help with vomiting and then put a blanket over it. Of course, the cat now prefers a different chair! And as you can see, they are allowed to sleep! I did not receive any compensation for writing my review.
