Anyone who thinks this is a quality set has never used a standard Japanese quality set. It's low quality but good for the price if you're looking for a starter kit. It still seems to work well enough for its intended purpose. The temple stand is beautiful and well made. I've used the cup once and refuse to use it again lol so I bought one from my local tea shop ($6.50) because it's too rough and the matcha sticks to the bottom. I don't really know what this spoon is for as I've never used it in a tea ceremony, but it's as rough as an hour so I wouldn't want to use it. The Chasen is ok, it's functional but I can say it seems cheaper than what I'm used to. Overall good for the price but if you want quality go to a real Japanese tea shop. and just FYI when you use the coin the ends will unwind (which is perfectly normal) but it will become too long to fit back into the plastic case if you plan on using it for storage.
