Pleasantly Surprised! I didn't expect this to work in the wet! We've lived in an arid climate and are familiar with evaporative cooling - it's NOT just evaporative and is amazingly efficient. It will accompany me on my next hike. I also keep it with me in my hot corner office. White noise and comfortable temperatures help me focus. The charge lasts a long time, it is light, portable and has good settings. Some water collects on the fins along the front, but they've added a small trap at the bottom to try and collect it back into the unit and not waste that water. Very good! I might get a second one to keep my chickens cool on a hot day :)
