It's not as stylish as some other roller massagers on the market. And skin contact is a bit sharper due to the raised edges of the design - I don't think that's a bad thing, but it's definitely a more intense feel. The rolling motion isn't as light and smooth as we'd like, which is why the stars are deducted. I feel that the thinner ones are also easier to use on yourself to reach all muscles and more mobile if you want to travel with them, which I do sometimes. Overall I don't think this is a bad product, it's just not my first choice.
