Healed Skin Problems - Dogs

Many years ago my dog developed a strange skin condition. I took him to the vet several times and they gave me medicine and ointments. It seemed to work at first, but the boil kept coming back and then started spreading. So I did a little research and learned about animal rendering. I was shocked to find out what they do in dog and cat food, even those labeled 'natural', 'real meat' etc. Just google animal rendition and you'll see what I'm talking about. Anyway, then I spoke to her about all of this and she suggested trying plant-based dog food. She mentioned several brands but this one was the cheapest so I gave it a try. I'm so glad I did! My dog's skin problems disappeared quickly. He's been eating the same meal for years and the ulcers never come back. He's also in great health, has a great coat and doesn't seem to be aging. I'm not sure if it's food or just a coincidence, but I'm not sure. take a risk with other meat products. It seems strange to give a dog a plant-based food because the general belief is that dogs need meat. However, after much research, I found out that dogs are omnivores and can eat both plants and meat. But they don't need meat to be healthy. Considering what they do in meat based dog food I think this is the best choice. On the other hand, cats need taurine, which is found in meat. However, there are some good plant-based foods that contain this nutrient and are balanced.
