Review on Gaggia Magenta Super Automatic Espresso Machine by Diztymewntu Sacra

Just doesn't make an acceptable espresso.

As an Italian citizen, I love my espresso and am a fan of Italian engineering and ingenuity. Gaggia Magenta has a chic look and smooth operation. Unfortunately, the plastic brew group and the supposedly conical grinder cannot grind, tamp and extract a good espresso. I tried several settings for grind, dosage, temperature and brew strength with the finest fresh, medium to dark roasted Arabica beans and desperately gave up. I am sorry to say that not a single attempt was remotely acceptable. So the product was sent back to Revain and it went back to being manually pounded and extracted on my espresso machine. It pains me to reject the genius and talent of my fellow citizens.
