Review on COVERGIRL Clean Matte Cream Packaging by Veronica Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The review you were looking for.

Just like you, I've been looking for a lighter foundation for everyday wear - you know, something that still has minimal to light coverage but doesn't look too "baked on". Revein, of course. Recommend two products to me: (1) CG Smoothers and (2) CG Clean Matte BB Creams. So I bought both and compared them so you don't have to. Please note that I am a 30 year old mom who still suffers from occasional acne and uneven skin tone. Nothing new, just life. I usually wear the following: Revlon Colorstay 150 Foundation, Buff, Maybelline FitMe Powder 110, Porcelain1) CG Smoothers, 805 Fair to Light. The consistency of this product is really smooth and light, more moisturizing than a tint. Very light coverage, a little enough but it doesn't feel heavy on the face. I like that the color is real and not oxidized. However, you definitely need a setting powder to refresh your make-up from time to time. (4.5/5 Stars) 2) CG Clean Matte BB Creams. This is a very thick BB cream, similar in texture to sunscreen, heavy. It also smells very strongly of sunscreen. However, it has medium coverage and is very matte, so it doesn't leave your face shiny all day. It doesn't mix well and you need a lot of product. Please note: This product will oxidize and darken. It has a more average tone than Fair and I don't recommend it for people with dry skin (3/5 stars).
