Although this product works best on red hair and gives good coverage. Even a light touch will pour out too much product. The brush is too wide to only paint over the roots, and the powder gets on the forehead, clothes, comb, pillow. I don't understand why it's called "Pure". Too much powder and my hair felt so dirty I used a washcloth to wipe some of it off. The shine is gone too. I have not been a novice in dyeing all kinds of products for many years, but it is impossible to regulate the amount of product. I feel if I used a much smaller brush, at least 1/4 size, and a powder in a pressed pack, this would be a very good product. Women touching up their roots don't need a brush this size. My hair is thick, shaggy, and shoulder length, so you'll need to coat many areas, not just the middle section. I'll try to buy a small brush and find a way to apply a small amount and hope for the best.
