Review on Planet Bike Protege 8 Function Computer by Roy Boone

I owe a lot of Cateye and other brand bike computers. This is the first time I have needed a Planet Bike cycle computer. Bought based on the positive reviews here. But very disappointed. The speed is not accurate and updates slowly. It takes about two seconds to update the speed. The measured distance is also not accurate. Looks like he forgot to count the wheel revolutions. I wonder if mine is defective or not? I tried increasing the circumference of the wheel - it didn't help. Moving the wheel sensor closer didn't help either.
