For a simple, workable solution, this camera works. My L-shaped home office consists of docked computers on a side shelf and a monitor with a keyboard/mouse on my desk. The camera cable initially forced me to hold the camera in the corner closest to the docked system. Using an extension cord and spacers for the camera feet helped. Pros: * Cost * It just works * Use with a stand or attach to a monitor Cons: * USB cable length < 1.5m * USB cable is rigidly attached to the camera - cannot be replaced. * The stand is a little loose, it should be used on a hard non-slip table. Additional considerations: You may need a USB cable extension if the nearest USB port is not close to where you plan to place the camera. The USB cable is physically connected to the camera. The legs are a little loose, using a non-slip surface helps when the plastic legs slide across my desk.
