Bought as a housewarming gift for my girlfriend. We have been using these knives almost daily for over 6 months now and they are still in perfect condition! They have a lot of details on the handles, so we hand wash them, dry them immediately and put them away. I've washed them in the dishwasher and they've been fine, but I wouldn't make a habit of it. If you read other reviews, remember that you need to sharpen your knives from time to time. It is part of knife ownership. UPDATE: one year later! You are still strong! No water stains or rust. They've only had to be sharpened once since we received them!
