It sounds strange to get excited about an extension cord, but believe me, I've tried many. This one is ten times better than all those expensive "power bars" you keep lugging around and refilling. Firstly, there is enough space at each of the outlets for even the most massive wall wart. You'll never have to play "Tetris Plug" again (You know, "if I put _this_ wart on the end, I can squeeze _that_ in between.") Second, while it's not big or heavy, compact, durable block, it stays where you put it. Ordinary extension cords are always twisting and pulling on the cords attached to them; This sits firmly on its base, which helps maintain order. Finally, the switch has a nice plastic cover on top, so you don't have to worry about hitting it. Or leave the cover on for easy access to the switch - your choice. Either way, the switch has a nice click and a highly visible light. It also looks cool, of course, is well made and not too expensive.
