. It is not. The back of the laptop hangs down about 3 inches, just enough not to get caught in the main vents on the bottom of the laptop. I have 15.6 fits perfectly but bought it for my 17.3. So disappointed as it has all the features and feel I was looking for. Update: I will say although this didn't work for me the seller is one of the best I have come across. They really take customer service seriously; did his best to make sure everything worked for me. This is indeed a position that many more people and companies need to take. I will definitely buy from them again knowing they will work hard to fix any issues.
