Easy to use, but consumes significantly less power than its predecessor. My original remote worked almost everywhere in my room. With this I have to make sure it is pointing DIRECTLY at the sensor for it to work. Might be a bit of a hassle considering I have a wall mounted TV and now I have to put my hand in the air and keep the remote level with the TV for it to work. But I think it's better than no remote control. I can't rate speech recognition because I've never used it.
