Hello to be honest. I bought this item because it was advertised as an original Sony replacement, but it is not. Upon closer inspection, I found that it was a generic remote, not provided by Sony. And the voice recognition function does not work.

Remote control worked great

remote control worked great. You must sync the language option to use it. Just use the included instructions to set up the voice control button easily. Didn't think I would use the voice option, but it's quicker than going to apps to select the streaming option. The remote also worked with my Sony DVD player. Without programming.

Poor result, but at least I'm working my arms!

Easy to use, but consumes significantly less power than its predecessor. My original remote worked almost everywhere in my room. With this I have to make sure it is pointing DIRECTLY at the sensor for it to work. Might be a bit of a hassle considering I have a wall mounted TV and now I have to put my hand in the air and keep the remote level with the TV for it to work. But I think it's better than no remote control. I can't rate speech recognition because I've never used it.
