The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.
At first, when I bought it, I was a little upset when you put the speaker in front of you, the sound comes from only one side. But in the future I began to ignore this, I put it at an angle with the right edge towards me) With regards to the sound quality, I still like the top more as the Charge 3 wins back, the Charge 4 certainly copes with the bass much better, the depth of the volume is on top. But if we evaluate the sound on average, then of course the difference is extremely small compared to the previous version. See for yourself. Can't recommend, but nothing bad to say either.
- I used JBL Charge 3 for a long time, in fact, I compare it with it. -Beautiful modern design. -Rubberized passives with slightly more travel than the Charge 3. -The presence of a modern interface - USB-C, no need to look for micro USB anymore. -The case has become more rubberized and much more pleasant to hold, the plastic is not so oaky. - Deeper and more voluminous bass, but still after half the volume there is an increase in only the tops and middles. -Bright backlighting of the buttons, you can always see whether it is on or not, and in addition, when you turn on Connect +, the bezel around the buttons (on and Bluetooth) lights up -Hours of operation have not changed.
- Poor set, clamped charging. The speaker is located on the right side, I don’t understand what the problem was to place it in the center. I'm not a JBL hater, but there really is a feeling about the placement of the speaker, I closely compared the Charge 3 with the 4th. The price, I took it for 10 tons, now it costs from 7500.
