Would not buy again

I bought this mainly to prank my granddaughter who hates crickets but I have to say that while this item is exactly as described, it was mine didn't work at home. . The sound of the cricket was too faint, never changing, and could be mistaken for a fire alarm with dead batteries. There are too many people and dogs in my house and the noise is gone and absolutely nobody said anything. Maybe in an apartment where one or two people live. That didn't work for me.
