Hidden under the bedside table next to my wife's bed. Well, after about 20 minutes of searching, she finally found the culprit. When discovered, she took pleasure in personally destroying the source of her frustration. It could cost me $11 and a night on the couch. However, it was worth it!

I bought this stupid piece of plastic junk thinking it might be fun. It would be if it really sounded like cricket. When you press the button, it beeps like a beeper that doesn't fray next to the sound of a cricket. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY. After pushing the button a few times and realizing that was it, I took out the batteries and threw them away. Three of the most expensive batteries I have ever bought. Don't waste time sending it back.

I bought this mainly to prank my granddaughter who hates crickets but I have to say that while this item is exactly as described, it was mine didn't work at home. . The sound of the cricket was too faint, never changing, and could be mistaken for a fire alarm with dead batteries. There are too many people and dogs in my house and the noise is gone and absolutely nobody said anything. Maybe in an apartment where one or two people live. That didn't work for me.

I put a bloody cricket on the bedside table in the bedroom where my sisters slept when they came to visit. It was fun! It drove them crazy when they couldn't find the cause of that annoying noise.
