Consider leaving the 90 degree adapter attached
What is not obvious is that in some situations where access to the tire valve is difficult, the 90 degree adapter will be tightened and left on should . Too much air pressure is lost when trying to unscrew the adapter, if you try to remove the adapter after inflating the tire, it can unfortunately go from "tight" to "off" and you lose too much pressure. The flexible long hose works quite well in some tricky situations.
