This is a really compact convection air fryer and grill. You cannot "fry" tempura or breaded fish etc. Air Fry is marketing and great marketing. We'll see how dirty the item gets over time, but the basket and tray are very easy to clean. We'll see how long it takes for this plastic smell to go away (only made about 4 recipes so far) but luckily it didn't end up in the food. I recommend. The idea of reheating food is a great idea for those who don't have a convection toaster.
