The main mattress chamber has been damaged during shipping and unpacking. Unfortunately, I only noticed this after the return window, as it took almost two months before I unpacked the air mattress from the box for the first time. I always thought I was closing the inflation valve wrong since the mattress doesn't stay inflated from the start. Only after inflating the mattress several times did I discover a very small puncture in the "corner" that had formed in the air mattress due to the packaging in the cardboard box. I repaired the hole with the kit that came with it. Unfortunately, this only made the hole bigger. I heard a pop as I refilled the main chamber with air. As I can no longer return an item I can only warn others to open the package upon arrival, inflate the air mattress and check carefully for leaks. Don't wait until you actually have time to use an air mattress to find problems.
