Not suitable for Security and Surveillance System
I wanted it to work but it didn't. I think the problem lies in the manufacturer's desire to make the connection to the camera waterproof. The rubber compound at the end of the cable just doesn't make for a good connection. I've tried "wiggling" the plug in place, I've tried holding the back of the jack (from inside the battery compartment) for support. No juice in chamber. Nice try, good idea, needs more technique.
