I bought these for trail running and they're not bad- can't speak to long-term, but a few notes:The short material is very comfortable. this coupled with the fact that they have regular deep front pockets means they'll do well for knocking around the house, too. The material is a little bit thick and this coupled with the 'compression' liner being overly long means that they're bound to be useless in very hot weather. Anyone with a sewing machine can cut and re-hem the liner to be much shorter which ought to improve things- I certainly will- and the compression material of the liner is so thin it's not as though it's providing any compression benefit anyway. However the liner is enough to keep a phone in the pocket from moving during a run. Really nice, and take advantage of it because it's the only pocket with any kind of bounce control. If taking along stuff for a long run you'll need something else. They fit well, as advertised, and given that the brand name shorts they're competing with are *at least* double the cost, they're worth picking up, especially for short group runs where you're going to want to hang out after. Don't be that guy that immediately changes into street clothes.
