The only reason for 1 star is because it came and the mini console removal instructions were accurate enough. First I used a standard two DIN touch screen. I removed everything per the instructions, just used an 8mm socket instead of the "Phillips" screws as the instructions said. No problem. Easy to customize. Next, I follow the instructions to remove the center button placket for the bag. again. bright. Now the nightmare begins. To say it doesn't fit is an understatement. It was over 1/4 inch wider than the hole it was meant to fit. oh wait, that's not all! So after trimming, trimming, and trimming to make it sit properly in my dash, I feel like it's been whipped up. Que next series of crap production! I will install my standard two din block. the hole was over 1/4 inch too narrow! Now I'm getting really angry about this project fiasco! But I keep going! I finally got my stereo set up. Of course now it looks like Daenerys Targyens breathed fire all over the place so I'll start sanding to make it nice and smooth. still not perfect but hey i have a radio ring. I can hide a little rudeness. I will test. Mother of God! It won't fit either! Right now I've been immersed in this 45 minute project for about 3 hours. OK. This is my day off. I think I can detail the rest of the truck later. Another 25 minutes goes by and eventually everything fits snugly and with the overlay ring in place. it looks ok So I pat myself on the back. the rest is easy. a little, but if the wiring is for the radio, reconnect it. Hooray. Yes, it didn't take long. I go out and install the radio after figuring out which holes to use to mount the radio to the dash after a bit of trial and error and plugging everything in. Nothing. Keep in mind. I'm using the included instructions and the included wiring. I don't have an advanced system. quickly fix errors and it becomes clear that this is not my radio. I'll dig a little more and holy bananas what I find. the supplied wiring harness is not properly connected! Now I seriously curse this monstrous instrument kit I ordered. The "spark wire" on the bundled wiring harness doesn't even connect to anything on the factory wiring harness. So I did a little research. and i find i need to connect and my system works. Finally it's time to pack everything. Here is the short end of the story. I've been working on cars for 29 out of 36 years. Put simply. I'm pretty mechanical by nature so luckily I knew how to adapt and get through the crappy storm I endured for almost 6 hours. 6 hours to install the radio! Unless you are mechanically gifted! Run for the hills! If you think you can get the job done with this kit as is. Think again! Very very dissatisfied with it! I won't upload a photo of my work, it looks nice and professional but not thanks to this set!
