I also bought 2 extra mop heads so I can wash them when they get dirty. They mostly grind in my washing machine

I bought 2 mops about a month ago, the mops are stuck I can no longer shorten the mop handle. I also bought 2 extra mop heads so I can wash them when they get dirty. They are mostly shredded in my washing machine. One of the respondents said there is a machine washable mop but the link goes straight there. I'm disappointed because now my laundry and the towels I washed with those mop heads are covered in mop scraps.
