too loose at the connection
I would give it 4 stars because it's strong, looks good and the ends unscrew, but the plastic piece that holds the smaller diameter ends with a larger diameter end not thick enough to hold the smaller diameter end in place; It just slides very easily, so I think when the curtains are hanging, one side moves back and forth every time you open the curtains. You'll need to put tape or something else on the smaller diameter end of the rod where you want it to stay for it to work properly. If it weren't for that alone, it would be a very good rod.
