Received my 3 step ladder today and of course had to climb it as soon as it arrived. (I haven't rated it for durability since I just got it.) I'm 5ft 5" tall and our blankets are about 9ft tall; The top step allows me easy access to paint surfaces, cleaning kitchen cabinet surfaces, etc. Standing on the top step feels quite solid and the brace at the top is reassuring. It's a bit heavier than I would have liked, but if less weight means flimsy construction, no thanks. when not in use, it fits neatly behind the fridge—and in fact, its folded size was one of my biggest draws, since I share about 850 square feet with my husband, dog, and two cats.
