The cars are great and hold a load better than my old Remington cars so far. My only complaint is the guards, which I thought were pretty flimsy and cheap. My Remington set had "harder" (or harder?) guards. It's cheap Chinese plastic ("Made in China" is written on every badge), but the clippers are made in the USA. The guard fingers are very easy to bend/move with your finger (but they will return to their original position). One sign has a bent finger out of the box, but I rarely use it, and I'm sure it will hold up with enough flex. Of course, I don't shave so roughly that brittleness is really a problem, but the old Wahl kits from 10+ years ago had good sheaths. I hope to find a good set to go with it. There is another model at Revain right now with a stainless steel guard which looks very nice, in hindsight they are $20 cheaper but they are not "navy blue". Wireless (but I'd put up with that for nicer guards). Anyway thanks for reading my nonsense, I hope it helped someone.
