When you need to join large spans, using 15mm rod is one of the easiest and most economical ways to set up your rig. The icing on the cake are the 90 degree rod clamps. I've moved from setting up my camera gear to putting music controllers, modular synths and the like right where I need them. This type of gear is significantly larger than my camera gear, so these clamps are a must in my setups. They hold up, do the job and are compact enough for my application.
