Serious running clock; Overkill for an activity tracker

This is a great watch. I bought it refurbished and it looks/works like new. I did a lot of research on running/GPS/smartwatches before buying and it can be difficult to figure out what to buy. Highlights of this watch: 1. This is NOT Garmin's latest or greatest. That's both good and bad. Watches are a well-known product and many reviews have been written about them. It's also a good renovated value. It is not flashy like a smart watch.2. This is a SERIOUS running watch and the Garmin app is fantastic. However, you will get a wealth of information. Whether you're looking for something basic for the average runner or just activity tracking (steps and all), it's over the top and doesn't come cheap. It has real buttons! Again, this is geared towards fitness, so Garmin has taken into account the fact that people sweat during these activities. The buttons are perfect for sweaty hands. I'm so used to touchscreens these days, but the buttons are very logically laid out and can control everything. This is especially important if you need to interact with it on the go (no need to look at the screen and swipe). I see this as a big plus, although others may be generally over buttons.4. Downloading music to your watch is great. I HATE taking my phone (or anything) with me when I run, so being able to store songs/playlists on the watch is great. It also connects easily to my wireless headphones. However, if you don't mind carrying your phone around or prefer to stream, you might want to check out something else.5. There are many apps for this watch. I also use it to track my treadmill runs (pretty accurate, which is amazing) and my HIIT workouts (OrangeTheory). It also has Garmin Pay, but I haven't tried it yet. Hope that helps!
