The product itself deserves 5 stars, so I rate it. It is essentially a beard oil that is solid at room temperature but melts easily on hands and spreads like a liquid oil. It absorbs quickly, helps to soften and style hair (although there's no real hold), and I've had no issues with skin irritation or a heavy/greasy feeling within minutes of application. However, I am not a fan of the Initiative/Citrus fragrance. I was hoping for a clean, light lemon/lime scent, but to me it smells almost exactly like a citronella candle. If you like it, then definitely 5 stars. If not, try a different flavor. The smell was strong (but not unpleasant) for an hour or two, but quickly dissipated, although I could still smell it during the day when I sweated. I think I will return to "woody", I liked this scent. much more.
