Purchased to connect an HDMI monitor cable, USB flash drive and Logitech Unifier keyboard/mouse to a Dell XPS17 desktop. The performance throughput is too low to work with the XPS17, so I knew it wouldn't work. However. I was unpleasantly surprised that there are so many lags and disconnects. The connection to the monitor was interrupted from time to time. The connection between the keyboard/mouse and the USB unifier will be fuzzy if they are more than 8 to 10 inches away from the device. The only way to get the dock closer to the keyboard and mouse is to buy an extension cable and then move it closer to the keyboard, which would take up valuable desk space.
