These tiny screws are needed to secure an M.2 SSD or NVME SSD to the computer's motherboard, and the protruding standoffs are used to attach the device to the M. 2 connector to align. These parts are not included with most M.2 devices, but some motherboards have them pre-installed in a hole on the board as a courtesy. This didn't happen with my Asus motherboard. The correct height post (mine requires the larger of the two sizes provided) must first be screwed into a hole matching the M.2 length. The device is then installed into the M.2 connector and secured to the rack with a small screw. The magnetic screwdriver is handy for holding tiny screws when aligning with mounting holes. These items are of very good quality and helped me to get the job done successfully. Thank you QTEATAK!
