Review on 🐠 Contemporary and Stylish LANDEN Aquarium Stand: Ideal Cabinet for Aquarium, Terrarium, or Reptile Tank + Nano Foam Leveling Mat Included by Jeremy Meza

Good start, room for improvement

From seller/manufacturer: Imagitarium Aquarium stand Glossy white Adjustable shelf and hooks for easy storage Sleek, modern design blends seamlessly into any decor 60 x 45 x 86 cm (23.62 x 17). 0.72 x 33.86 inches) --------- This product didn't have any reviews yet, so I decided to enlighten other potential buyers on the details left out by the seller/manufacturer. I bought the 60x45x86 cm white model, so I can only assume that my review should also apply to the smaller model. The product looks almost exactly like the stock photos on the sales page. Landen has kindly taped a black foam pad to the top of the cabinet to cushion the aquarium. While foam aquarium mats are essential, I've never seen such a feature before. There is also an additional foam mat at the bottom inside the case, presumably to dampen noise and vibration from the filter and other noisy equipment. The booth also has a small "Landen" logo in the top left corner. cabinet door, making the stand itself look a bit like a mini fridge. The logo doesn't bother me, but I don't usually see logos on wooden cabinets. There is also a large rounded cutout on the top back panel to route hoses and cables to the tank. This is normal for hoses to the tank, but all electrical cords must first climb to cabinet level before returning to most outlets. This will eat up about four feet of cable before it hits the ground. This can be a small advantage if cable length is not an issue as water will never enter the outlets used for the tank. The manufacturer does not have any additional shelves inside, but this is mentioned in the brief description. should have "adjustable shelf and hooks for easy storage". This is unfortunate as I don't even see pre-configured holes on the inside of the cabinet to accommodate the shelf. However, there are four small holes on the left side of the cabinet that could be for the accessory hooks they were talking about. However, the kit I received did not include a shelf or hooks. This is a disappointment. There's also a small spring-loaded plunger that helps open the door if you apply pressure to the top-right corner of the door. It also serves as a rubber stop to keep the door from hitting the cabinet frame. What I liked: Very secure packaging upon arrival (plywood on both sides of the crate, four metal corners and packing straps to secure the plywood and corners to the crate itself). - Lots of extra gear in case of breakage during installation and quick assembly, padding on top and in stand.--Very clean look. What I didn't like:--It took some guesswork to assemble to ensure I was putting on the correct panels used in the right place. However, some holes have been drilled in different locations to prevent incorrect assembly. -- Adhesive cam covers must be provided in body color (white sticky sheets for white body, black sticky sheets for black body). -- The stand comes with eight plastic legs, similar to pins. Quality stands should have adjustable feet to provide a level base for the aquarium. This product took off a star for that reason alone. - No shelf and hook for delivery as stated by the seller. In general, the cost is about the same as other high quality MDF furniture. I wish there was more focus on industry details like adjustable feet and the promise of shelf and hook descriptions kept. The exterior is clean and simple. A good start, but there is certainly room for improvement on this product.
